Next Generation Radiology (NGR), founded by Dr. David Katz, is well named, as it is indeed the next generation of the highly specialized field of Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Katz developed the concept of utilizing the latest advances in patient imaging and network technology in response to today's challenge of offering the best care in a cost and time efficient manner. A hands-on, personal approach by the group's physicians and staff is applied, as the patient's comfort is of primary importance. Images taken at NGR may be rapidly sent via computer network to world renowned experts, yielding consulting opinions from the nation's best medical universities. Furthermore, the alliances also provide a standardization of imaging techniques and applications based upon the latest research at the leading University hospitals.

In 2004, Dr. Kathy Brandes joined NGR, bringing her dedicated expertise in Women’s Imaging (mammography, breast ultrasound, and pelvic imaging) to our female patients. We incorporate iCAD’s Second Look computer-aided-diagnosis system to offer an “extra-look” second opinion for screening mammography. In 2006, we introduced high-field breast MRI, digital mammography, and image-guided breast biopsies.
